Assistant Media Planner

An Assistant Planner (AMP) assists in the development and execution of media plans under the direction of Media Planner and/or Director.  Looking for a motivated candidate who wants to make an impact and bring and execute on ideas across the digital media eco-system (display, mobile, social media etc.).

Responsibilities

Assist media planning/buying team in developing, implementing, and maintaining media objectives, strategies and tactics

  • Work with publishers/account team to implement media plans and follow up when necessary
  • Prepare and maintain plan budgets and billing
  • Maintaining flowcharts and plan delivery and Q/A
  • Work with calculations and other quantitative data
  • Ability to use 3rd party ad-serving tools to RFP sites, issue insertion orders and manage campaigns
  • Construction of competitive analyses as well as other given analytical reports.
  • Ability to write POV's and give recommendations
  • Assist in trafficking and reporting of online campaigns.
  • Meet with industry representatives to gain insight to all phases and points of contact of media.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field a plus
  • 1-2 year of media planning/buying experience (relevant internship and coursework will be considered).
  • Must have strong business writing, presentation, and client-service skills.
  • Must have stellar organizational and quantitative/analytical skills including experience in creating formulas and executing calculations
  • Great attitude, desire to learn and ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Media Planner

Good Apple Digital is seeking an entrepreneurial Media Planner to join our growing independent agency.  The Media Planner reports to the Media Supervisor and/or Media Director, supervising Assistant Media Planners.  The Media Planner works closely with the media and analytics team to maintain quality control of the media campaigns in market and continually evaluate and improve performance against client goals.  The Media Planner is key to building and maintaining industry relationships, as Good Apple works closely with our publishing and agency partners.

Looking for a motivated candidate who wants to make an impact and bring and execute on ideas across the digital media eco-system (Display, Mobile, Social Media etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Daily maintenance of assigned accounts (billing issues, budget revisions, flowchart updating, competitive analyses, post buy analyses, etc)
  • Research, strategy, planning, presentation of plans with full execution
  • Planning, buying, and negotiation of media (inclusive of desktop, mobile, social, and other emerging digital platforms)
  • Media authorizations/reconciliation review
  • Help to guide junior staff on campaign execution
  • Liaise with creative agencies and production teams to manage deliverables
  • Craft post campaign reports/decks
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with vendors and clients
  • Stay apprised of industry standards, new media programs/trends, and competitive landscape

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline; and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a an assistant or media planner with a focus on digital
  • Solid working knowledge of how to integrate media research into the planning process (Nielsen,  comScore, Emarketer)
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Deep working knowledge of third-party ad servers/reporting functions (Doubleclick)
  • Proficient understanding of third-party ad measurement and traffic tools

Media Supervisor

Good Apple Digital is seeking an entrepreneurial Media Supervisor to join our growing independent agency.

The Media Supervisor reports to the Media Director, supervising junior Media Planners. The Media Supervisor develops digital strategies and coordinates media plans for our client's products and/or services.  The Media Supervisor works closely with the media and analytics team to maintain quality control of the media campaigns in market and continually evaluate and improve performance against client goals.  The Media Supervisor is key to building and maintaining industry relationships, as Good Apple works closely with our publishing and agency partners.

We are looking for a strategic thinker who can be a mentor to junior planners, a leader within the agency and a partner with our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide media expertise, share media knowledge and provide continuous feedback
  • Develop digital media strategies and tactical approach
  • Manages the day to day client relationship
  • Train and mentors junior planners on best practices of online media planning/buying
  • Assign and manage workload of  junior media planners
  • Work closely with publishing partners to build and maintain relationships
  • Manage client budgets across multiple tactics (display, mobile, video, paid search, etc.)
  • Foster environment of shared learning and acts as a trusted source of media information for agency and client meetings
  • Partners with Analytics and Paid Search team
  • Provides strategic insights for weekly client reports
  • Contributes to new business efforts as needed
  • Writes agency POVs

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Required
  • 3-5 years of overall media planning experience, minimum of  2 years online media planning is preferred
  • Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication and organization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Knowledge of DART, and other comparable Ad Serving technology

Paid Search (SEM) Campaign Manager

Good Apple is looking for a Paid Search (SEM) Campaign Manager to join our paid search team.  You will be tasked with contributing to PPC campaign strategy, trafficking campaigns, and assisting with reporting across multiple accounts. You will also be responsible for helping the team complete day-to-day paid search client requests.

 Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage paid search campaigns on behalf of agency clients
  • Work with clients and internal teams to determine campaign objectives, establish search-specific key performance indicators, and timelines
  • Assist in the development and expansion of keyword lists
  • Traffic campaigns on search engines utilizing PPC management tools and programs
  • Record and manage daily and monthly campaign budgets 
  • Ensure success against client goals via ongoing optimization based on performance analysis
  • Assist with creation and analysis of client-facing reports
  • Provide feedback and insight on reports that will be delivered to clients
  • Implement necessary optimizations as a result of ongoing performance analysis

Good Apple is looking for a paid search (SEM) strategist to join our search engine marketing team.  You will be tasked with developing and executing PPC (pay-per-click) campaign strategy across multiple accounts. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with paid search clients, developing junior agency talent, and enhancing agency systems and practices to ensure ongoing industry leadership.

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage paid search campaigns on behalf of agency clients

  • Javascript programming experience a plus, but not required
  • Experience in healthcare and SEO is a plus but not required

Data Analyst

Candidate will be a sophisticated website or media analyst with roughly 2-4 years of experience in website and/or digital advertising data analysis and have some experience that illustrates creative problem solving skills. Candidate will have experience turning business requirements into metrics and implementing tracking to measure those metrics. Candidate will be a fast learner who is comfortable using advanced functions in Microsoft Excel and 3rd party reporting tools such as DFA, Sizmek, Google Ad Words, Site Catalyst, and Google Analtyics. Experience in databases (SQL, SQLite) and analytics programming is a plus (Python, R).

Major Job Responsibilities:

Position will be responsible for weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, and analyses for clients, summarizing results of media campaigns, analysis of trends and management discussion/ executive summary. Position will create clean, effective, and actionable presentations for clients and internal teams. Position will also monitor and troubleshoot tracking implementations and oversee updates.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in website, database or media analytics, experience in advanced methodologies such as experimentation and testing, report automation, advanced segmentation, and custom implementations a plus
  • Three plus years of experience in one or more roles in an online environment, familiarity with digital processes and marketing
  • Mid-level expertise in measuring success of SEM/Display campaigns / efforts.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to plainly communicate results to clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Leads and contributes to improvements in processes (technical or business) for reporting and analysis
  • Has a natural inclination and passion to grow by making things better for Clients and Good Apple
  • Learns from mistakes, takes action to apply the learnings, and provides peer and team wide feedback
  • Three to five years of experience in using the Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint with exceptional MS Excel skills (REQUIRED – must know more than how to make a pivot table)
  • Programing experience and other technical website knowledge is a plus
